Presentation: For the Love of Wildlife – Wildlife photography is one of the hardest genres in photography. Michelle thrives on the challenge. Her goal is to push her own boundaries, to capture her viewers’ attention and spark their imagination with her imagery. She will share her passion for the natural world, regale her behind the scenes anecdotes and showcase a collection of her most powerful wildlife images photographed in remote areas of Canada.
Bio: Michelle Valberg is an award-winning Canadian photographer, renowned for her soulful portraiture, majestic wildlife and stunning landscapes. She possesses a magical combination of artistic creativity, entrepreneurial spirit and community commitment. She is a Nikon Ambassador, Canadian Geographic’s first Photographer-in-Residence, a fellow of the Explorer’s Club in New York City and with the Royal Canadian Geographic Society. Her work appears in numerous magazines, books, galleries, embassies and can even be seen on a coin and stamps.

Presentation: Intention, Vision, Creation – Nikon Ambassador, Lowepro, Manfrotto and Broncolor Pro will take you on an inspirational journey of some of his new work from photographing Jaws surf competition to Grizzly Bears, Osprey and landscapes, to private jets and cars. Kristian will take you through his personal steps for manifesting his vision, share pro photography and video techniques and visual storytelling insights.
Bio: Kristian Bogner is a master photographer, director, speaker and ambassador for Nikon Canada, Broncolor, Lowepro and Manfrotto. Awarded 2018 International Photographer of the Year with the Master Photographers International Association and 3-time Commercial Photographer of the Year for Canada with the Professional Photographers of Canada Association.

Presentation: Capturing Mood – What is mood in an image? Nikon Ambassador Viktoria Haack will explain what elements to look for when shooting and editing to capture and create the mood you envision within a photograph.
Bio: Viktoria Haack’s work covers the fields of landscape, portrait, wedding, event, promotion, editorial, stock and photography education. The diversity of her work allows cross pollination of skills and experiences between these different photographic genres and allows her to stay creative and excited about the projects she undertakes. She loves nothing more than sharing her passion for photography in an educational role – whether that is over a cup of coffee and a chat or on a multi-day backcountry workshop.
