Quasar Science might not a name that rings a bell, but the company has have been producing top notch LED lighting since it was founded in 2012 by a group of Los Angles I.A.T.S.E. Local 728 Studio Electrical Lighting Technicians.
As one of the first companies to embrace LED, they began by producing colour correct LED bulbs in all shapes and sizes, then, in 2014, they began making retrofit LED tubes which became a runaway hit with set lighting crews around the world.
Early in 2021, Quasar Science joined the VITEC Product Solutions family of brands.

The Q-Lion 3×1 kit includes all three different Q-Lion series tube lengths, 17.78cm (7in), 30.48cm (1ft), and 60.96cm (2ft) in one convenient package.
All lights offering three switchable white light temperatures of 3000K, 4300K, and 5600K and offer five selectable dimming levels, 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, and 10%.
The internal lithium ion battery provides up to 4-hours of runtime at 100% intensity and the lights can continue to operate even while charging.
Each light also features magnetic mounting feet and a M10 baby pin receiver providing a wide range of rigging/placement options.
The lights are controlled via the single button located on the end of the tube.
Simply quick tap to change dimming levels, hold to change colour temperatures, and double tap to turn the light off.

The Crossfade X is a versatile, low-profile linear light source that produces dimmable, broad spectrum tunable (2000K to 6000K) white light.
The Crossfade X is available in three lengths, 60.96cm (2ft), 1.2m (4ft) and 2.4m (8ft) and can be used singly as a key light, or arrayed in multiple light configurations depending on your needs.
The Crossfade X can be used for a variety of set-ups from lighting actors to lighting whole environments such as stage backings or above diffusion lighting.
The lights are self-ballasted and feature a single ended power input that will accept industry-standard TRUE-1 connector power cables without the need for external AC-DC power adaptors.
The lights also include injection molded Q-Block mounting brackets that can be used with your own custom fabrication mounting system or as a simple, clean way to mount the lights to a surface.

The T8 Dimmable are flicker-free, tungsten-balanced liner LED lights that are available in a few different variations, with the main difference being colour temperature and depending on the length, wattage and power consumption.
Each version of light is available in two lengths, 60.96cm (2ft) and 1.2m (4ft) and two power options, 120v (15w or 30w) or 240v (15w or 30w).
The T8 Dimmable lights are all feature a single colour temperature (3000K or 5600k) which cannot be changed.
All T8 Dimmable lights are also Triac Dimmer compatible.
