DJI Action 2: Redesigned, Modular 4K Action Camera Announced

The next generation DJI Action 2 is smaller and lighter than the previous OSMO Action featuring a very cool interchangeable magnetic design allowing users to attach a variety of new accessories and surfaces to the camera.

Weighing in at a scant 56 grams, the Action 2 body (camera module) features a dustproof and waterproof (up to 10 meters without additional housing) and drop-proof body.

The form factor has also changed from a GoProesque rectangular shaped body to a smaller, more square shape as seen above.

And the square shape is the key to the Action 2’s versatility as it’s design allows it to accommodate the various addon attachments.
