The new Westcott V-Flats are essential light-shaping tools

The new Westcott V-Flat line of light-shaping panels combine exceptional portability, durability and creative flexibility essential to photographers and filmmakers who do studio and on-location work and need optimum control on demand.

They replace the conventionally stiffer, bulkier and often fragile foam-core boards we’re used to with a welcome new system that’s easier to store, transport and deploy across a wide range of shooting scenarios.

With its dual-sided multi-panel design, expansive surface area and self-standing stability, the V-Flat also provides distinct advantages over a standard reflector that only bounces light.

Westcott’s hallmark has always been its unbridled innovation paired with rapid-assembly designs, as seen not only in their cutting-edge lighting solutions but also in their industry-leading light-shaping tools, including softboxes and umbrellas – and now in the new V-Flat line.

You can use the V-Flat panel to bounce light for soft fill.

Combining a sturdy collapsible frame with durable, stretchable and machine-washable fabric, these large panels create a full-length surface that you can use to block, shape and add or subtract light exactly as you need it to perform in a given situation.

Aided by magnetic feet, the lightweight aluminum frame holds its position securely while you work and is designed to handle frequent setups and breakdowns, as well as easy transport.

In use on set or out in the field, the white fabric effectively bounces light onto your subject to create nice and soft fill as well as reduce harsh shadows.

The V-Flat comes with fabric, frame, magnetic support feet and carry case.

The black fabric surface, on the other hand, is great for producing negative fill and allowing you to create more dimensional lighting with deeper shadows.

Available in black, white, and black and white, the Westcott V-Flat includes the panel fabric and portable frame with two magnetic support feet and carry case.

The Westcott V-Flat 2-Pack (White & Black) includes two portable frames with both black and white fabric panels, plus four magnetic support feet and two carry cases.

The fabric panel can also be purchased separately in your choice of black or white.
