The new Aputure Spotlight Mount II projection lens modifier is compact and versatile enough to satisfy demanding lighting technicians and video professionals who need access to precise, pro-level light-shaping effects in a lightweight portable form factor.
When it was launched in 2019, the original Spotlight Mount was hailed for its wide-ranging adaptability, spanning pinpoint accuracy to total illumination. The Spotlight Mount II goes another step further.
Optimized for use with Aputure’s Storm 400x and Storm 700x but also compatible with the LS 300d II, LS 300x and LS 600 models, the Spotlight Mount II features custom precision optics and a telecentric optical design, which combine to deliver nice and even projections, distortion-free and with minimal amounts of chromatic aberration.
You can also add welcome touches like texture, pattern and controlled highlights thanks to the unit’s rotatable barrel design and compatibility with B-size metal and glass gobos, as well as its built-in four-leaf cutter.
And to provide optimum flexibility for various shooting angles and rigging configurations, you’ve got up to 80 degrees of downward tilt in which to maneuver as well.

Like its predecessor, this new model is available with 19°, 26°, 36° or 50° interchangeable lenses. You can also purchase it as a kit with your choice of one these lenses, plus four gobos and a gobo clip.
The 36-degree lens projects a 2m circle at 3m, for instance, and the kit also includes gel holder, safety chain and hard case.
