    NEW from Leica: the D-Lux 6, V-Lux 4, M and M-E

    Leica has just  launched four exciting new cameras and a host of new lenses and accompanying accessories.

    With its newly developed Summilux zoom lens, the D-Lux 6 takes a top spot in the compact camera segment. This camera is epitomized by speed and optical quality. The D-Lux 6 which fits into a shirt pocket is ideal for available light photography and a variety of creative options.

    LEICA D-LUX 6 KEY FEATURES:

    • Newly developed Leica DC-Vario-Summilux zoom lens 4.7-17.7mm f/1.4 -2.3 ASPH. (24-90 mm equivalent)
    • Newly developed 1/1.7″ CMOS sensor with an effective resolution of 10 Megapixels
    • High-resolution optional EVF 3 viewfinder with 1.4 million pixels
    • Manual aperture ring for greater creative freedom
    • New high-resolution display with 960,000 pixels
    • Integrated ND filter
    • Full HD 1080p AVCHD and MP4 video capture
    • Faster burst shooting speed of 12 fps
    • Panorama and spirit level function

    The V-Lux 4 has the potential to become the star within the Leica compact camera portfolio. Its ultra fast 4.5-108mm f/2.8 zoom lens is a true optical masterpiece that makes the camera even more universal than its predecessor.

    • Newly developed Leica DC Vario-Elmarit Super 24x zoom lens 4.5-108mm f/1:2.8 ASPH. (25-600 mm equivalent)
    • Newly developed 1/2.33″ CMOS sensor with an effective resolution of 12 Megapixels
    • High-resolution integrated EVF with 1.3 million pixels
    • Tilt-and-rotate display

    The Leica M is the first M camera to implement a newly designed and constructed CMOS image sensor and to feature additional focusing methods and functions like Live View and Full HD video capability.  It is the most versatile model ever in the history of Leica rangefinder cameras and sets entirely new standards.
