With Fujifilm’s newest X-Series camera, the rangefinder-style X-E3, you are getting the many of the same premium features found in their newer X-Series cameras (X-Pro2, X-T2, X-T20) plus a few that are brand new to the X-E3.
The X-E3 boasts the same 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III sensor and X-Processor Pro engine, as the cameras mentioned above, it also features a focus control joystick (introduced on the X-Pro2) and the same 325-point autofocus system as found on the X-T2.
As for new features, the X-E3 is the first X-Series camera to feature Bluetooth LE in addition to WiFi allowing for easy transference of images to a connected smart-device on the fly.
The 3-inch touchscreen LCD acts as both a real-time EVF and offers smartphone-like swipe control for focus as well as menu functions/settings not accessible via its external control dials or buttons.
For those who are keen to shoot video as well as stills, the X-E3 also offers Full 1080 HD/60p and 4K/30p recording capabilities for up to 10 minutes (15 minutes when shooting HD) of continuous recording.

The newly developed image recognition algorithm is able to track subjects up to half the size or moving twice as fast as previous models which is a nice improvement especially when shooting fast continuous at up to 14fps (8fps with mechanical shutter).
The Advanced SR Auto mode can instantly recognize up to 58 different scene types and automatically select the most appropriate settings for you.
