A new Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports telephoto zoom

As the name suggests, Sigma’s coveted Sports line of premium lenses are designed to capture dynamic action with split-second accuracy and sophisticated optical performance to ensure that you never miss those dramatic eye-catching but often elusive shots you’re always aiming for. It’s not every day that a new model comes along, so it’s our pleasure to introduce you to the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports – a powerful new ultra-telephoto zoom and the first of its kind in this series developed specifically for use with full-frame mirrorless systems.

Looking sharp
This high-performance lens is designed to deliver ultra-sharp results even on the highest-resolution mirrorless cameras, rendering both super-clear detail – not only at the tele end at 600mm but also throughout its entire zoom range – and exceptionally beautiful bokeh to isolate your subject. Fast and accurate autofocus, with roughly four stops of image stabilization, along with a Dual Action Zoom system, ensure that you can shoot with confidence and achieve exactly the shot you want even in the most challenging shooting situations. This new lens will revolutionize the way you capture wildlife, motorsport and other fast-action subjects with your mirrorless camera.

Built to keep up
The Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports consists of 25 elements in 15 groups, including special high-performance glass that eliminates aberrations, all housed in a sturdy dust- and splash-resistant barrel, with a water- and oil-repellent coating on the front element for added peace of mind. Enhanced optical and mechanical designs combine to keep ghosting and flare under control, even in harsh sunlight or tricky backlit conditions.

Along with the superb build quality you’d expect from a lens in Sigma’s Sports line, the 150-600mm f/5-6.3 is compact and robust, with parts made of lightweight aluminum and durable TSC to deliver reliably consistent performance in a wide range of temperatures. It features a magnesium tripod socket that can be attached to an Arca-Swiss type clamp, and a removable/replaceable foot can also be used to mount the lens on a monopod. Available in L-mount and E-mount versions, the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports also comes with a cover hood, plus case and shoulder strap.
