Aputure has announced their first-ever full-colour point-source light fixture, the Light Storm 600c Pro, featuring Bowens Mount compatibility, custom colour-blending optics, 600W total output, a weather resistant housing, and pro level connectivity.
The Light Storm 600c Pro’s RGBWW LED chipset is capable of 600W of total output, which makes the LS 600c Pro one of the brightest, and highest wattage, full colour point-source light fixtures currently on the market.
As with pretty much all Aputure lighting fixtures, the LS 600c Pro features a Bowens Mount making it compatible with a huge range of light modifiers.
With the included LS 600 Series Hyper Reflector mounted, the LS 600c Pro is capable of 4,150+ lux at 3 meters output, and up to 17,480+ lux at 3 meters when paired with the Aputure BM1215 Hyper Reflector.
Using the same RGBWW technology found in other their higher-end fixtures, such as the Nova series, the LS 600c Pro is capable of creating stunning colour reproduction with an SSI (D56) of 74 and an SSI (Tungsten) of 85.
It also features a wide CCT range of 2,300K to 10,000K, green- magenta adjustment, and the ability to reproduce >90% of colours within Rec.2020 colour space.
The brand-new UX, includes easy access to different light modes including, 10 user-programmable presets, and other advanced features, such as max & constant output modes, frequency selection, 4 fan modes, 4 dimming curves, and 15 Lighting FX.
It also includes all the important professional colour controls, including XY, RGB, source & gel presets, as well as advanced HSI with white-point adjustability and pro connectivity options including, LumenRadio CRMX, 16-bit DMX512, and Art- net & sACN via etherCON.
The LS 600c Pro is also fully controllable with the Sidus Link Bluetooth App. (Download the latest version of the app to your phone from the Apple App Store, or Google Play Store.)
Finally, the LS 600c Pro utilizes unique V-Mount or Gold Mount battery plates featuring multi-voltage compatibility and active battery-charging functionality.
The control box will also accept 48V/15A DC power via a 3-pin XLR connection, allowing the LS 600c Pro to be powered via external battery power stations or block batteries.
