When using a standard two-light setup, creators have the option to choose from three different lighting looks.

Note: At launch, amaran says that the “auto lighting feature will support up to two compatible amaran lights with plans to expand support for more complex multi-light setups through future software releases.”
For those who wish to have more control, the app also allows creators to fine-tune settings to their individual preferences if they so wish.
2× Lossless Zoom in 4K & Fast Autofocus
The amaran Cam allows creators to continuously adjust from wider framing to tighter close-ups with up to 2× lossless zoom while maintaining full 4K resolution, and its fast autofocus can lock onto subjects in less that a 1/4 second with reduced focus hunting.
Multi-Cam & Native Vertical Video
Allowing for extremely versatile set-ups, creators can connect up to four amaran Cams allowing for greater coverage across multiple angles (top down for products, side views, etc.) with quick switching between views/cameras.
For vertical content, the webcam automatically switches to native 9:16 output at up to 4K60 when rotated without cropping or loss of image quality.

The amaran Desktop App, offers centralized control over camera settings and connected amaran lights as well as audio, and advanced creative features such as Green Screen, Beauty, and Filters in Virtual Camera mode.
