Apple announced, today at its Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco, the new MacBook Pro with Retina Display.
The new 15″ MacBook Pro features all flash storage and quad-core processors in a radically thin and light design. At .71″ thick and weighing 4.46 lb, this MacBook is being touted as the lightest MacBook Pro ever made. The device is also equipped with Apple’s Retina Display (the same screen found in its later iPhones and new iPad) providing a 2880 x 1800 resolution, giving it the world’s highest resolution notebook display at over 5 million pixels – 3 million more than an HD television.
The 15″ MacBook Pro with Retina Display comes in a 2.3GHz and 2.6GHz configuration.
