World Press Photo Exhibit in Ottawa

Starting tomorrow (August 2, 2012) through to August 26, the 2012 World Press Photo Exhibit will be on display in Ottawa at the the Canadian War Museum (1 Vimy Place).

This tour of prize-winning photos has exhibitions in close to 100 cities in 45 countries and is part of World Press Photo’s efforts to inspire understanding of the world through quality photojournalism.

The 55th Annual exhibition contains over 160 photographs, including those captured during recent or ongoing conflicts. The latter builds upon the Museum’s display of post-Cold War conflict and underlines how these events continue to shape the world.
