If you’re going to be in Ottawa this weekend, make sure you drop by the Canada Council Art Bank’s 40th Anniversary exhibition, Spotlight on 40 Years: Artworks from the Canada Council Art Bank.
As part of Cultural Days in Ottawa, this exhibit is on display from Friday, Sept. 28 until Sunday, Sept. 30. The Art Bank has chosen 40 works from their collection (to represent each year since their inauguration) to show the diversity and artistic talent in Canada. Vistek’s 2009 Gold Medal Winner from OCAD, Meryl McMaster, has been chosen to represent the year 2012 with her photograph, Becoming Laura!
