Vistek is proud to be a sponsor of local photographers, painters, jewelry makers and mixed media artists as they join together to donate their art in a Silent Art Auction to benefit Forever Angels and the Tanzanian orphans they’ve made their mission.
The first annual Children of the Sun Silent Art Auction is a grassroots fundraiser for orphaned, abandoned and severely disadvantaged babies and toddlers. Organized by former volunteer & photographer, April Maciborka, the one night intimate celebration will feature (in addition to the silent auction) a special performance by African drumming group, Baro Dununba, Butterface Catering’s Afrikan-Luv-U menu and a ton of door prizes. Some of the raffle prizes include: hockey tickets, full body massages, specialty cheese baskets, blog template designs, nights stay at a hotel for two, Vistek photo seminars & workshops.
Bidding ends at 9:30pm and buyers can expect to take their new pieces of art home that night!

Why: To support orphaned and underprivileged, Tanzanian children by upholding their basic human rights, giving them opportunities and helping them to fulfil their lives’ potential.
