    AtomOS 10.83 firmware update adds Fujifilm X-H2 support and more

    AtomOS 10.83 Firmware for Ninja V and Ninja V+

    The latest AtomOS 10.83 firmware update for the Atomos NINJA V and NINJA V+ recorders has been released by Atomos adding ProRes RAW support for the new Sony FX30, Sony FR7 PTZ Camera, and Fujifilm X-H2 in addition to other improvements and bug fixes.

    Ninja V – AtomOS 10.83.00 Firmware New Features:

    Sony FX30 RAW Support

    • ProRes RAW Recording Specification via HDMI
      • ~4.7K (4648 x 2616) at 23.98p, 24p, 25p, 29.97p

    AtomOS 10.83 Update for Ninja VSony FR7 RAW Support

    • ProRes RAW Recording Specification via SDI
      • 4K DCI (4096 x 2160) at 23.98p, 24p, 25p, 29.97p, 50p, 59.94p
      • 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) at 23.98p, 24p, 25p, 29.97p, 50p, 59.94p

    Note: WB and ISO controls/slider adjustments are available for this camera in Final Cut Pro

    Bug Fixes and Improvements:

    • Resolved a stability issue that was caused by outputting a 6K RAW signal from Z CAM E2-F6/S6 cameras to the Ninja V.
    • Resolved an issue where 4Kp50/60 YCC video input signals from the JVC GY-LS300 were captured with incorrect colours.
    • Resolved an issue where the 4.3K RAW output signals from the Sony Alpha 1 weren’t recorded and displayed correctly.
    • Improved Audio/Video Sync when streaming live to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, etc.
    • Being disconnected from Wi-Fi/Ethernet is now reflected in the Cloud Connection Status in the Connect menu.
    • Wi-Fi passwords and previous Atomos Cloud pairings are kept after updating to the latest firmware.
    • Wi-Fi signal strength now gets displayed more accurately.

      • 8K UHD (7680 x 4320) at 23.98p, 24p, 25p, 29.97p
