Aputure has announced two more lights in their Light Storm line-up. The 60W daylight balanced adjustable focusing LS 60d and the 60W bi-colour adjustable focusing LS 60x lights.
Light Storm 60d
The Light Storm 60d is a daylight-balanced (5500K) adjustable focusing light, that utilizes precision condenser lens optics to internally adjust the spot/flood beam angle between 15°~45°.
Power is provided via the included AC adapter, or the DC battery input by using either the included Dual Sony-NP-F Battery Plate Adapter or a cinema battery with D-Tap output, such as a V-Mount Battery.
The LS 60d is also IP54 weatherproof (dust and water-resistant), so it’s at home indoors or out in the elements.
As with other Light Storm lights, the 60d is compatible with a custom Bowens Mount adapter and Spotlight Mini Zoom lens, both of which are sold separately.
The Bowens Mount adapter makes the 60d compatible with any of Aputure’s existing Bowens Mount lighting modifiers, such as the Light Dome Mini II.

The Light Storm 60x is an expanded bi-colour (2700K~6500K) adjustable focusing LED light, utilizing precision condenser lens optics allowing users to internally adjust the spot/flood beam angle between 15°~45°.
As with the 60d, the 60x can be powered using the included AC adapter, or via DC battery input, by using either the included Dual Sony-NP-F Battery Plate Adapter, or a cinema battery with D-Tap output, such as a V-Mount Battery.
The LS 60x is also IP54 weatherproof (dust and water resistant) making it ideal to use in any filmmaking environment.
It’s also compatible with both a custom Bowens Mount adapter and Spotlight Mini Zoom lens (sold separately) making it compatible with any of Aputure’s existing Bowens Mount lighting modifiers.
